Dr. Sipiora is a licensed psychologist with a broad range of clinical experience in both private practice and community mental health settings. He has worked in an urban, forensic psychology clinic as a drug and alcohol therapist and supervised a day treatment unit for clients suffering from severe mental illnesses. As a psychotherapist in a multidisciplinary group practice located in the suburbs, Dr. Sipiora helped people deal with depression, anxiety, and the other varieties of psychological distress that all too often deprived them of a full engagement with their lives.

An award-winning teacher and well-published scholar, Dr. Sipiora was Professor and Associate Chair in the Clinical Psychology program at Pacifica Graduate Institute  (Carpinteria, CA) for 13 years. He holds graduate degrees in both psychology (Ph.D., University of Dallas) and philosophy (M.A., San Jose State University), and was a tenured member of Duquesne University's (Pittsburgh, PA) internationally recognized Human Science Psychology department (APA approved) for over 20 years. His areas of academic expertise and publication include existentialism, phenomenology, archetypal psychology, and narrative theory.

While at Duquesne University, Dr. Sipiora also taught in the School of Leadership and Professional Advancement, and was co-founder of PsychoGuys, LLC an organizational development and individual coaching partnership that worked with small businesses, non-profits, and educational institutions in the Pittsburgh area. Earlier in his career he was employed in the publishing industry as Marketing Director and Distribution Manager for Spring Publications, Inc.
